Our Story
One Day
With decades of experience in various mediums–from painting and photography, to jewelry and crochet–One Day Made is the culmination of that creative passion under one umbrella.
Following the shocking, untimely death of beloved dog, Jasper, owner Alex Aiden's world flipped upside down. After a string of heartbreaks, this loss felt like the final nail in the coffin. In an attempt to make sense of so much pain, they poured themself into the various art forms that once defined their life. Through paint splashes and camera flicks, Alex Aiden turned their sorrow into something physical, something permanent. Jasper, though gone too soon, left this world smiling, doing what he loved. While he may not be here physically, his memory and spirit can live on in every brush stroke.
It was through this expression of grief that One Day Made was formed. At any point in time, the life we live could be irreconcilably altered. The people we know, the pets we love, the jobs we work, the town we live, everything could change at a moment's notice. When tomorrow isn't guaranteed, and yesterday's a mere memory, the present is all we truly know and hold dear, one day is all it takes. The only day is today.

In line with its flagship motto, One Day Made is focused on products which highlight life's one of a kind, yet fleeting, moments. Natural photography is intended to capture individual memories in a concrete form, with some utilizing digital manipulation to further explore the temperamental quality of recollection–the most intense of these being turned into head-turning kaleidoscopes. Jewelry and Rosary beads are painstakingly designed, made, and shipped by hand, with many styles celebrating the human condition and natural world. Along with a range of artful color palettes, many pieces come in pride varieties–subtle and loud–further highlighting this passion for the uniqueness in each of us and the community we can achieve when welcoming those differences. In much the same way, our upcoming bear figurines will come in limited quantities distributed by chance. While there are no guarantees of who we'll meet, the mark they leave is everlasting, just as Jasper lives on here.
